I had this idea from the start of the resto. A chrome air cleaner lid to match the chrome valve covers. When it was finally installed it jumped out far too much and took the gloss away from the engine. You'll also notice that the hood hinges are powder coated black. These were changed to the Challengers exterior colour further along the restoration. The air cleaner will also be changed to a powder coated black.
